Father,

We are Your Children and we come to sit by your feet for a time such as this. We take in Your warmth that comes from a love so pure- the first love we ever knew. It feels familiar to us, the Source from whence we came. As we sit by You, we notice that all the things that used to worry us, have dissolved away into a natural sense of peace and calm. For now, we will not project our worries and fears into the future, we give them to You in this moment now, to turn them into blessings, and experience the mercy of Your grace.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God—“ (Ephesians 2:8)

For right now, Your breath transforms our world and we reach out and trace the beginning outlines of our most precious hopes and dreams. Our hope, our faith, comes directly from You, the Creator. You are the root of our greatest love stories, and You love it when we create more love, with love. You made us especially to be the divine stewards of this planet, our beautiful home. You have good plans for us and our world and it brings us joy to step up into it.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:10)

May we always know the warmth of Your love and carry it with us always, to lift one another when needed and to sow good seeds that will grow into the magnificent evidence of Your love for us, and for the Earth, and our love for You, and for one another.
