“This, then, is how you should pray:
‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.’
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” (Matthew 6:9-15)
Father,
Our world is in your hands. You are bringing us through a healing process now, lifting us out of shame. This lifting and shifting feels funny. We’re not sure what to make of it. But we’re beginning to realize that this is the start of a new healing process for us.
We are feeling Your Presence more strongly and something inside us is opening up to You. We have so much to reconcile. We look at what we have let the world become and we feel guilt that we became so distracted. But we are in a new place now and You are entering our hearts and filling us with Love. Father we have so much for which to be thankful. We are firmly on Your lighted path and in Your hands.
With humble sincerity,
In the name of The King,
Amen.
