Bless us this day Father.
Bless us to make way for a day full of opportunity and potential.
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:19)
We know you are the Giver of all good things, and it is with an openness of hope that we actively work for Your promise to come, even though we never know when, where or how it will come through.
Give us the strength and the tenacity to face down anything we need to face. Renew our commitment so that we have no lack of determination. Guide our hands and move our feet as needed. Father, we invite you into our hearts so that You may shine out through us, and thus make miracles in our world. May we be a clear and unburdened channel, an instrument of your service. “But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)
Father, those things that perplexed us, those things that caused pain and sorrow and worry, they do not have any power any more. They do not have the power, because You have all the power. You are all that is, and all that ever will be. “The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous.They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.” (Psalm 19:9-10)
Make us ready, Lord. Make us ready and complete for the task at hand.
