Father,

Bless us today with the gift of inner peace. A peace that allows everything to flow in it’s proper way according to Your mercy. You are telling us that our greatest path to harmony in our world lies with inner peace. Without inner peace, our actions can become susceptible to war and destruction. Cleanse us Father, of our bitterness, our anger, our resentment. Help us muster the faith and hope to quell our fears, our worries, and anxieties. “He redeems my soul in peace from the battle waged against me, even though many oppose me.” (Psalm 55:18)

Father we know that you love us with a love that is everpresent and everlasting. Help us to feel Your lovingkindness in everything we experience today. Father in total trust, we surrender ourselves to You. “Into your hands I commit my spirit; deliver me, LORD, my faithful God.” (Psalm 31:5)

As the Light shines into our darkest crevices, we may see things about ourselves that we don’t like. Please Father, please help us to accept ourselves, the good with the bad, and let go of those things that we’ve needlessly carried for far too long. “Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.” (Psalm 10:17) We want this cleansing Father, not just for ourselves, but for the others around us, so that we may be better stewards of our relationships and for the world. May we always cultivate the wisdom of a greater existence in humble service and employ the discipline needed to nurture a true inner peace.
