Father we come to you to be enfolded in the warmth of Your embrace. All the hurts and fears that make us fret and worry, we will leave them here with you, as we know that Your strength is all we need. Although the darkness has become mighty uncomfortable, and it tries to pull us, it’s lost all power and it’s voice rings hollow. We are here, lifted up, firmly in your arms. Fill us with Your Light of understanding, a patience that flows with our life, a mind that works in calm quiet, knowing that we are loved by You. Help us emulate the teachings of Your son Jesus in every way we can. Help us ascend above the chaos of the darkness, firmly held in Your Light. “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” (2Corinthians 3:17)

Father, we choose the path of straight ahead. The path you have marked out and lighted for us. A path that is bursting with life. As we walk Your Path ahead, we know we are loved by You no matter what and that you hold us precious in your eyes. All our hurts, all our woundings, we bring to you right now in The Embrace as we feel them being pulled out of us, like strings you pull them out. And then, with the tenderest touch, you apply the purest, most unconditional salve of healing that penetrates every cell of our being. It soothes our Spirit and is the kindest nourishment for our Soul, a reminder of Home. Your Love, Father, sets everything right again. In your embrace, we are fully repaired and renewed. It is the most delicate of bandages. It is the most nutritious food and thirst-quenching drink. The music that plays the song of our Soul, turns our Spirit loose to dance and play once again.
