Father,

As your Children of Light, we come to you now. We remember. We remember times when darkness had no power and the Light shined. We remember how brightly your divine spark pulsed within us and how strongly we felt your presence. Your promise. Your promise that we will feel that strongly and more. Bring us to shine that intensity of Light, turn it up, shine your divine essence through us, out into the world.

Your son Jesus, our Lord and Savior, told us, “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works.” (John 14:12) Jesus, Oh Master of Love, Bring our world into the peace and beauty it was created to be. Come into our hearts and help us be the living compassion of your teachings, of your example, of your existence. Help us extinguish the darkness with the light of our hearts, to shine out the love that we are. Bring peace to our planet so that we may create magnificent works in your name, and the name of Our Father.

“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14)
