Father,

As the people of the world are tossed about in confusion, you want us to know there is a place of stability if we rise up above it all. Father, the world needs peace and clarity. People are suffering. Our Souls are starving to be nourished with the goodness of life. We don’t want war and we don’t want any harm come to our brothers and sisters around the world. Lift up the innocent who are in harms way. Strike down all those who prosper from war, and those who lie to create it. “The wicked will not prosper, for they do not fear God. Their days will never grow long like the evening shadows.” (Ecclesiastes 8:13)

Father we know we’ve been lied to. They lie to us to cover up their own sins. We know that the powers that be have overstepped are weeds in your garden. We know that because “He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, But he who confesses and forsakes them will find compassion.” (Proverbs 28:13)

Help us to stand together for what is right, what is decent. Help us stand up against oppression and to be able to do the next right thing. We know that right now, it’s weeds, but that you have declared that there will be Peace, and Peace it will be. Help us work together in seamless, effortless ways. Allow us be the calm for someone who needs it. To be a compassionate voice with a kind word. To soothe fears and reaffirm strength. “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.” (Proverbs 17:17)

Help us be the Light that you created us to be.
