Father,

We greet this day. We realize that in meeting the challenges of a new day, we are in reality creating something new. Every choice is an opportunity to choose a direction that creates upward momentum so we can rise above the pull of bickering, mud-slinging, misdirection and deception. Guide us. Guide us past the pitfalls that grab our attention and pull us down into fear and worry. Keep us above.

Help us remember the love that we are. Help us bring up and hold that love in our hearts and maintain it in everything we do. Help us intensify our Light to shine brightly. We’re going to need it because we know that in these times, we are going to be faced with some important difficult issues that need to be addressed and we’re going to need to work together. We have to rise above everything that has been keeping us powerless in order to solve some very important problems now.

Please Father, we have to insure that our children are protected. Please help us re-focus and work together to establish children’s rights to health and safety and protection in this world. We know Your Laws protect them, but we need to change our laws to become more in line with yours. Help us Father.
