We thank you for another day, Father. One that brings with it, the gift of renewed strength and purpose. Looking out upon a world so weary, we lift up our hearts to you in gratitude for this experience called life. We are grateful to be called upon for this gift called living. Although it may entail making difficult choices and having to walk a tough road, we will endeavor to step forward with love in our hearts. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37)

You dwell in us, Father. It is the active presence of you at the center of our being that animates us. The movement of you within us that gives us eternal life. Thank you for this gift. Lift us up Father. Lift us up to a higher place. Help us to shine the light that we carry to dispel the darkness. Help us to know you more intimately and to love each other better. Help us know you and feel you inside our being. Help us hear you more clearly and follow you more nearly. “But if from there you will seek the LORD your God, you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” (Deuteronomy 4:29)
