“The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.” (Romans 8:6)

Father,

Now as we witness the crumbling of old systems governed by fear, we turn toward our new experience, which is based on Love. We came to this conclusion naturally, Father. Our values have changed as we have changed. We are more love-based now because you loved us first. We are gathering up everything we hold dear… our families, our pets, our friends, places, experiences, things… and we are putting out our arms and scooping them up and holding them close to us. In this way, Father, we are doing the important job of sorting what we really want to keep, and letting go of all the rest. We are making room for actual living of life, Father, such an important thing to do now that old fear-based gut reactions are dissipating.

Just as darkness is being transformed by the Light, our lives are changing as we claim what we love in humility and appreciation. As we sort through the possibility of experiences available to us today, we choose the ones that bring us joy and loving interactions that have value and pay off in dividends, without ulterior motives. We choose to act in integrity over selfish gain, and we choose to feed our spirit with an open heart that loves fiercely and walks bravely. As we muster the courage to put our claim on the things we value most, we are heartened by your promise of the fall of darkness, and the rise of your Children of Light.
