Father,

As we greet the day, our focus is brought to the importance of choosing to be in joy. In whatever we do, if we cannot be in joy, our thoughts and communications cannot bear fruit. When your son, Jesus taught us about your love for us, there is a joy in that knowing that we are so completely loved by you that all of our shame and blame evaporate in the light of your pure unconditional Love for who we really are at our Soul essence. Thank you for giving us that feeling right now. Let us carry that feeling, that knowing that you Love us so completely that it carries through everything we think, say and do. We smile in the knowing that nothing, not sickness, fear, failure, opposition, war or even death can take your Love away from us.

Even when we feel unhappy, we can carry the joy of knowing we are loved by you as your children. It is a true gift that carries us to persevere through any trial, any task, any challenge. “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” (James 1:2-4) Because you want us to develop this mastery of our emotions, in order to be in a place of balance where can choose to carry that joy with us wherever we go and whatever we do. The joy in knowing that we belong to you and we will never be abandoned, not ever.

Father as this day begins, let’s bring in the Light. Let us flood the world with our focused love and understanding. Let us be in comfort knowing that despite all the chaos, there is still a place of peace in the joy within us that we are loved as your children and our brother Jesus will never leave our side. Bless us today and every day. Bless our loved ones. May we always choose joy every day, in every way.
