In gratitude for this day, Father, for our health and all blessings, we continue onward. Today we seek to step forward boldly expressing your love in our world. It says in Isaiah, “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed.” We will muster the strength from within to continue forward through these times, taking care of ourselves, our families and doing our best to make an honest mark on our world.

We know most that you are a God of Love. That your love shines in this world for all to see. That as your love shines, the darkness cannot overcome it. And that gladdens our hearts and helps us to feel confident in our stride. Along our journey together today, Father we will look for insights that give us wisdom about our path forward. Because “He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way.” (Psalm 25)

As we prepare to put our hands to task today, Father, we humbly ask for your favor in our world. We ask that your hand reach in and turn away the darkness, to uphold the light. We will not be discouraged and will use our effort to turn the tide as we are told in Romans, “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” We will bear your sword of truth in our work and endeavor to do right by you with our words, actions and deeds.
