Father,

Thank you for this day, for allowing us to learn and experience the world in surprising ways that open our eyes to see with more clarity. This allows us to better be your love in action, “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control” as it says in 2Timothy.

These tests of our spirit and our resolve give us character and make us more beautifully complex. Shine your loving light, oh Father, on the workings of our world so that we are not influenced by fear, but can live freely with open hearts, being true to ourselves, as trusty stewards of our world going forward.

We invite you into this day Father. We ask your Light to shine from our hearts, guiding us, saying, “This is the way, walk in it” and with the unfolding of your words, a rare form of knowing that is resolute in both heart and mind.

Let it be so,
