Father,

Thank you for blessing us with this day. Today we look into our hearts to share love for one another as we walk the path together. Matthew tells us to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself.” We know that when we open our hearts to you Father, that we are enabled to be better neighbors and to share a brighter, cleaner love.

Father we are grateful for the opportunity to learn to be better stewards of our hearts, and especially the hearts of others. For we know that it is with the utmost compassion that your son, Jesus taught us to sow love where there is pain, and Light where there is darkness.

It is in the deepest recesses of our hearts that we learn to know the presence of you, Father, and knowing that enables us to live a more light-filled and loving life.
