A quick update on our Hurricane Sandy evacuation.
We’re fine.
Our truck died just as we were leaving the island and we limped into a Ford dealership in Manteo, NC, where after several hours, it was pronounced dead. Our 5th wheel RV had to be towed out of the parking lot because of impending flooding from Sandy while we rode it out in a hotel. Our RV survived Sandy successfully and we are back in it at a campground in Wanchese. This is our sexy new truck. Yes, it’s the 6.7. Our 5th wheel hitch will be installed today. If everything goes right, we should be outta here and heading for warmer weather tomorrow.
Still working on getting fully operational. We have alot of good people to thank in Frisco, Manteo, Wanchese and Kitty Hawk for helping us. Full story to come.
