I’m often asked how others can learn to make wire wrap pendants like mine.  I tell them that the best wire wrapping classes are at Virginia Beach Beads at 2262 Seashore Shoppes in Virginia Beach, VA.  Teacher Randy Emerick (standing), known as Biker Randy, has been wire wrapping for 10 years, is extremely patient and has perfected his techniques to make them very easy to learn. 

Owner of Virginia Beach Beads, Dale Dunham (right), is always nearby to help and provide cabochons, wire, tools, polishing cloths and anything else (including lots of gorgeous beads).  Randy provides the tools so there is no need to worry.

Randy’s classes are relaxed and everybody has a good time. 

Even those who have never done anything like this before go home with a finished pendant, that’s Randy’s promise. Randy’s wife Cathy usually comes to help so no one needs to worry about getting lost.

Classes are on Saturday afternoons at Virginia Beach Beads.  They last about 2-3 hours so there is plenty of time to learn and have fun while creating a beautiful new keepsake. 

Some students enjoy his classes so much, they come back again and again to perfect their techniques and learn some new ones.

This is an example of a Biker Randy Style pendant.  Students are encouraged to use their own creativity to create a piece that is as unique as they wish.
