Our last day in Quartzsite took us to the Tyson Wells area.

We’ve been contemplating upgrading to a larger 5th wheel for a while and have looked at several.  On this day, we found ourselves enamored with the brand new MVP Destiny, just released last November.  The Destiny has upgraded features like full-body paint, automatic leveling, entertainment center and fireplace, full walk-thru bathroom and Corian countertops.

Check out the sweet kitchen with four-door fridge and breakfast bar.  Plenty of space.

We even spoke to the unit’s designer, Alexis Davis, who had answers to everyone’s questions.

Well we had alot to think over, so we decided to get a bite to eat and process this decision.  I do believe you can get anything in Quartzsite now.  One should be aware, however, anything you buy in Q has an additional 1.7% sales tax, even on RV’s… ouch!

Well, we’re still thinking and we headed east back to Picacho where we stayed previous to Quartzsite.  We’ll spend a week here watching the cowboys, going to the Tucson Gem Show and seeing Saguaro National Park.
