A beautiful campground along the banks of the Root River was our haven last night, Eagle Cliff RV Park in Lanseboro. Every site in the manicured grounds were lush grass, the whole place looking like a park. Once we were settled, we noticed that one of the tires on our trailer sprung a leak. Luckily, it was after we had stopped, but we were faced with the challenge of changing our first tire on the trailer. The front office gave us the name of a local tire and auto center in Lanesboro. Jeff soon arrived in his red truck to make a house call, switched the tire with our spare and took the bad tire back to his shop to replace the valve.
This morning we picked up the tire and thanked hardworking Jeff and his lovely wife for their kindness. Thanks to them, we are back on the road and headed for Sioux Falls.
We were able to visit the Root River, where Angie took a gentle cooling swim. Found some colorful jasper/agate along the banks.
