Readiness Continues…

The Honeysuckle is in bloom here in Pennsylvania.  I just love walking with tall green vegetation lining the trails and sweet overhanging boughs of Honeysuckle flavoring each breath.  This brings one of the things I love most about PA around full circle and I am appreciating being able to experience it before we head out on the road.

In the back window of our trailer, I attached a sign reading “Utopia or Bust”.  Bill got a chuckle out of it.  But it’s also drawn curious by-passers to approach us.  We’ve had neighbors who we’ve never met, those Bill has known for almost 30 years, and old friends who live close by drop by to wish us well on our journeys and ask us questions.  Never thought we would draw so much attention.  But, it has definitely turned a potentially sad time to one of happiness with such a kind warm send off.

The truck and trailer has been washed and waxed, that took us four days.  Shelves and coffemaker installed.  Angie’s space in the back seat area of the truck is ready.  We put the seat up so she can walk around and look out the windows.  I put two western saddlepads down so it’s soft and durable.  I ordered a Waterboy non-spill water bowl and so far it works great!  It flipped upside down and nothing came out.  I do think that

if it tipped on it’s side, it might leak, but this is the best we can do and Angie loves it. http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=thicarbel-20&o=1&p=8&l=bpl&asins=B0006BB78W&fc1=000000&IS2=1&lt1=_blank&m=amazon&lc1=0000FF&bc1=000000&bg1=FFFFFF&f=ifr
