An incredible two days here in Sedona. We hiked some of the trails here both days and drove through Oak Creek Canyon, a windy road with sharp drop-offs and no guard rail in places. We hiked to two of the vortexes and sat and experienced them for a while.

The campground is just as nice and we have enjoyed the peaceful clear stream containing colorful round river rock and wildlife. It is particularly fun for Angie.

With a couple swims a day, we have a very cooperative girl. One of the tire guys in Kingston told us that Sedona is paradise. Now we believe him. Although we can’t understand why the birds in Sedona don’t like Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

There is alot of road construction in Sedona right now. Bill seems to have an affinity for hitting cones on both sides of RV. Good to see he’s getting balanced. In fact, he says he’s good at it. We pulled off into the empty parking lot of a church this morning and cooked pancakes again while looking out at the incredible red rock scenery. Bill’s been in rare form… I keep telling him that if he doesn’t behave, I’ll get out of the car and walk home.

Yesterday (Wednesday) was hot and sunny (high 90’s), today was cool with a cloudy (rainy morning), and tomorrow, as we pull up stakes and drive about an hour to Williams, just south of The Grand Canyon, it will be cool 50’s (high).
