In the 104 degree heat, Jo and Angie took advantage of opportunity to get some rest Saturday while Bill caught the bus so he could hit the poker tables. They emerged from the RV at sunset to explore the Circus Circus KOA Campground and saw lots of lights. More like a parking lot, it has a nice pool and a delightful doggie play park.
Angie found some new friends and went wild.
Bill played at Treasure Island’s poker room. He returned to the RV around 3:30 AM with a little extra money in his pocket, got some sleep and hit the tables again. Angie didn’t bet on anything, but Jo did and didn’t win enough to buy Angie some bling. Bill did come away with a little more money in his pocket than he started with, so he can still keep Angie in biscuits. We managed to be here when Vegas was having a spring heat wave, it hit 109 degrees today.
Circus Circus has an AdventureDome indoor amusement park. There’s so much to see and do and it goes all night long. We are getting ready to move on to Sedona in the morning, where a surprise awaits us.
