Prayer of Finding Strength

Greeting the newness of this day, Father, we marvel at the gifts and opportunities you bring into our path. When we clear our cares and worries from our minds, our thinking is transformed into a place of wonder and mystery. It’s when we consciously shift our perspective, Father, that we can see your hand guiding all things. That we are in fact directing our lives this way, instead of being victims of a harsh life happening to us. In this way we will gain strength, and we will master it and harness it to wield down the darkness with a light-enhanced gaze. We know, Father, that darkness cannot sustain itself without you. We will use the gift of choosing how we look at things to steer our lives, driving upward into the light, climbing with joy.

“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” (2Timothy) When we take up the reins of our mind, with ease and focus, we are able to stand in a strength that can only come from you, Father. Thank you for being that strength that resides at our core. A strength so pure, that it makes us want to weep feeling loved so greatly, being so precious in your eyes that you say “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah) And you do. Your strength fills us this very moment, we can feel it pouring in. We accept the responsibility, Father, of wielding this strength married with compassion, as your son, our brother Jesus taught. May all things be done in balance, and may there be balance in all things.

Bless our family, our brilliant team. Let your light and love and strength fill and guide them all, Father. Lift up all who are weary of the battle and fill them with your might! Because we know to the nth degree of our hearts that we can do all things with you, who strengthens us.

Let it be so.

Amen.

God is Victory!

Prayer of Everlasting

Father,

We greet the beauty of pure potential contained in this day. We open ourselves to feeling the rise of a surging vitality in your everlasting love touching our everlasting spirit. The spirit that you loved before we were born and will still love after we leave this world. As we connect with that inner part of us, we start to feel that we can let go of the old ways of being and live a life surpassing any limitations we thought were there. This gives us a clear internal feeling of freedom, Father. A complete freedom that allows even more freedom to flourish. As we let go and expand into it, we can feel that sense of sustainability and exciting possibility populate our existence in this world, because we know that if you are for us, who can be against us?

You have told us that you love us with an everlasting love. When we hold that love inside, and let it expand inside our chest completely, we are filled with the light of your living essence. We can just feel that all things are possible with you, and so we let go of everything that has been holding us back and emerge anew. “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Romans)

Thank you for the opportunity to live this day the best way we know how. To learn how to love eathother better and see the best while cleaning out the worst. We ask for special blessings of protection and guidance during this time of change and renewal. To “Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.” (Psalm 51) May we always carry the beauty of spring in our hearts and our minds.

Let it be so,

Amen

Prayer of Rebirth

Father,

We welcome another blessed day gifted from your hands. As we observe the cycles of life in nature, we are reminded that every year brings us a new chance to learn through the rhythm of life, death and rebirth. It may feel as if our lives are on a yearly repeat, but it gives us an opportunity to elevate our experience in a way that takes us on a journey spiraling upward year by year. As we climb the staircase, Father, we become more authentic, more light-filled, more fueled by our unique passion. We embrace this season of renewal with joy.

At this point, we allow the healing process of renewal to surge, raising our spirit up and feeding our bodies. We open our hearts and invite the experience of your healing force into every cell our body. We come alive with the rhythms of life-giving nature. We know, that any time we need to be restored, we can be washed in nature’s refreshment. “Let his flesh become fresher than in youth, Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor;” (Job)

We ask that you bless our family and friends, our teams and tribes. May we all be renewed with strength and vitality, so that we may serve you in our rising reality “and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him—“ (Colossians) We know there is a way out of this mess, Father, and we know that you have cleared the path for us.

In gratitude and loving service,

Amen

Prayer of Renewal

Father,

We come to you this morning with an open heart. How many times have we asked what you would like us to do in order to focus our day’s efforts? Today you would like us to go on a search within. To find within ourselves the spring from which the effervescent fountain of life flows. It says in John 4:14 “but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” We reach inward and turn on the faucet of that spring, allowing it to flow through us like a fountain, then overflow and spill outward to others.

Today we ask that you bless our uniqueness, Father, that you show us how our quirks are actually superpowers, so that we may accept ourselves as you see us. Your love envelopes us completely in your arms. We know that if we can let go of all harshness toward ourselves, that you will pick us up and dust off our wings and set us soaring again.

So as we turn on our light within, the glow burns away anything that does not belong in our bodies, cleansing us, then radiates outward. 2Peter bids us to “pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts.” So we will place our attention where it needs to go, and we will light up the dark with understanding and compassion, and then we will act to make our world a better place, worthy of our wings, which you have unfurled on this day Father.

Bless us, our loved ones, our teams and tribes. Lift us all up in your mighty hand so that we may surpass all limitations on this day. May we rise together on the wings that your touch has animated, never may we falter, confident in our steps. Bless our hands so that they may be of good use. May they never tire, or produce lack of any kind. Bless our words so they may impart messages of sweetness that curls untruths and renders lies useless. May we shine brightly in the face of darkness today and every day, strengthened by your might.

Amen.

Let it be so.

God is Victory.

Prayer of the Phoenix

Father we know that we are going through a time of upheaval and change. It seems that everything has been thrown up in the air. Father we stand in strength. We know that at the right time, justice will be applied at your mercy. Jeremiah tells us “Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth.” We know that the phoenix will rise out of the ashes, that we will rebuild, and we will do it all brilliantly.

Allow us to step forth in a new awareness, in a full acceptance of ourselves as we accept one another. We ask for full blessings Father while we work to make greater change in this world. To be touched by your hand making us brighter than we’ve ever been. To challenge old ways with surprising new insights. To stand up to a system that has overreached its usefulness. And to witness your power bringing abusers low and protecting the innocent.

May we all be healed in eachother’s light knowing the love you shower onto we your children and our world. As in Galatians, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” As we stand fully in the knowing, that darkness will dissolve as your light permeates the shadows, and everything becomes clear.

Let it be so,

God is Victory,

Amen
