Blessed Jesus,

We humble ourselves before You, Lord.

Submit our pride and arrogance to You,

Graciously admit our flaws,

On this day, we ask You to pour

Your Strength into Our Weakness,

To let no weapon against us prosper,

Lift and heal; Light and guide.

Protect our children; keep them safe,

Uphold Our Nation,

May it be One Nation under God

Thank you God for the gift of Life,

The gift of this day.

Thank you for transforming our world.

For shining the Light into darkness,

Exposing and upholding Truth,

For all to see, acknowledge and accept,

For the breath in our lungs, strong bodies,

the life-blood in our veins.

We thank you Lord for Your gracious generosity,

Your mercy and grace.

Come into our hearts and into our lives,

Our families, friendships, schools and our communities,

King of Kings, Lord of Lords,

Merciful Healer, Wonderful Counselor.

Thank you. We Love You.

In the Name of Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Thank you for opening up the eyes and ears of this world.

Thank you for raising us up out of the darkness into Light.

For the old systems are crumbling,

and a Bright New future awaits.

We are One Nation Under God.

We are understanding more and more what that means.

Our hearts, conditioned to lead a hardened beat,

are tearing open by the rhythm of Your Holy Call.

Calling us to Rise; Guiding us forward to more.

The Truth of Looking into Your Treasured Face.

This is Your World; We are Yours.

Thank you for Loving us enough to know each of us.

Thank you for so carefully preparing us.

For Blessing us with the experiences that cleanse and purify,

thoroughly and lovingly. Strengthening, surrendering, lightening.

Blessing us with the gift of breath this day.

The profound honor to serve this day,

You our One True King,

Amen.

Thank you for building each of us in unexpected ways.

Thank you for coming into our lives, and into our world.

For knowing us and Loving us so beautifully and completely.

You’ve bridged the gap between worlds,

Guiding us across,

Shifting into The Light.

Walking in Truth.

Following You.

Thank you for opening the eyes of the world,

for helping us to see,

That it isn’t about picking on one another,

But rather turning our eyes to You.

Allowing You into our Hearts,

Adopting Your Teachings as Wisdom,

Choosing You as The Way.

Beloved Jesus.

You are The Light, The Truth, The Way,

All in the Precious Name of Christ Our King,

Amen.
