We’ve been talking about getting our creative juices flowing as part of raising our vibration and keeping it high but also to bring innovation into our world. New leadership is coming. They are normal people like you and me and they are stepping up and stepping in… and they are finding they are better at it than they thought.
I heard two terms lately that made my ears perk up. They are creator culture and creator economy. Creativity is becoming an essential part of people’s everyday lives. Being creative feeds the spirit. People are making a living doing things that they love. They are creators. Creators are paving the way for others to embrace their own creativity. It is catching on. Influencers who create content are being supported directly by their audience with zero censorship. It is fast becoming a creator economy. The major corporations who used to hold the power over distribution are being bypassed. In a creator economy, we the audience decide what we want because we are funding it. Being a creator also extends to hand-crafted items. Consumerism is converting to supportism through e-commerce. Supporters are showing love for artisans in a renewed interest in custom made goods and services.
According to Forbes.com: In a recent article, Naimeesha Murthy defines the creator movement as belonging to those who have elevated their products and audience engagement to a new class of business, accelerated by Covid and the creative time people experienced during lockdowns and stay-at-home advisories (like it or not). Murthy points out that “creators now have the necessary tools at their disposal required to produce top-class content,” and they’re empowered by the proliferation of content creation platforms for design, video, streaming, music, podcasts and writing tools to help them grow their businesses from a creative hobby to a full-grown money-making venture.
People are developing their own products, services and content based on their passion, knowledge and experience. Then others benefit by sharing in a community. When hard-working good hearted ordinary people step up as leaders and creators, we all win. This is another good sign of the changes that are happening in our world. Keep your eyes open for more. There will be more good signs of our positive future, full of potential and love for the human experience.
